Building Automation – old
Save time and money with our solutions
The system allows the building managers to change building setpoints – that is, the points in which an energy system such as a heater switches on or off – on request or from a centralised calendar. This can be done for any building, responding autonomously to, for instance, time of day or changes in weather.
The system can connect many buildings to the same calendar, meaning a whole set of buildings can be managed from a single control unit. Alternatively, the system can be configured to treat individual buildings differently depending on factors such as size, function or geography.
With the Energy Management System we give you both understanding and overview of building and construction energy consumption so that it is easy for you to reduce consumption. Then you can easily ensure that you avoid using more energy than is necessary. Save money, gain control of your energy consumption!
IOT Building Automation Controller
In each building, one or more building controllers are installed. The controller communicates with the building‘s equipment and is the bridge into a cloud–based solution.
The building controller is specially designed for the purpose and is equipment including Ethernet, Wifi, USB and 4G modems for remote, secured communication. At startup, it sets up a VPN tunnel to cloud solution. Using this one can communicate with the usual building protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Mqtt or OPC to name a few. Most other protocols such as Zigbee, Z wave etc. can be entered as an option. In addition, controllers have analog and digital outputs that can be used when needed.
The building automation system allows managers to optimise energy consumption, switching off technical installations such as heating or air-conditioning when not in use. Additionally, centralised alarm handling enables managers to respond quickly to failures or emergencies.
Managing a building’s technical facilities in this way can trim energy consumption by 30 to 40 per cent, with an associated reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, as well as 40 to 60 per cent reductions in operating costs.
Even for small and medium-sized buildings, the investment cost is reduced to a minimum and managers only pay a low monthly rental.
